Welcome
to the web site of St. Paul's Lutheran Church, Summer Hill. I encourage you
to browse through the various pages to learn what ministries are happening
in our congregation.
We are a congregation of the
Evangelical Lutheran Church in America and of the Northeast Pa. Synod of
that Church. We have been serving in the southern Schuylkill County since
1784, having just begun our 226th year of ministry to people of this area.
The present church building was erected in 1960 following a fire which
destroyed the former church building in December 1958.
I invite you to visit us at
worship on Sunday mornings at 8:00 and 10:30 a.m. (June through August at
8:00 and 9:30 a.m.) Sunday School for all ages begins at 9:15 a.m. except
during the summer months. The church is fully air-conditioned for your
comfort during the warmer months. The church is also fully handicapped
accessible. A signed service of Holy Communion is held on the first Sunday of each
month for the deaf or hearing impaired.
On behalf of the 890 baptized
members of St. Paul's Church, I invite you to worship with us and to make
St. Paul's your church home.
